Do-Right WebQuest for the Digital Age
PROCESS
Before you begin the final video/poster project, you need to gain a basic understanding of the many factors that affect teens when they use the internet or other digital devices to gather or share information. For each topic, you will need to download and print out the word document activity sheet, examine the websites, and use the information you gain from the websites to complete the worksheets. Keep your finished worksheet activities in a folder. Once your teacher has reviewed your work, you may conference with her to form a group and decide on a topic for your public service video and electronic poster.

For the PSA video, you must first create a script/story board to plan what you will say and what images you will use. For the video, you may use a digital still or video camera to record your images, and Windows MovieMaker or I-movie and/or the green screen create and assemble your footage and voiceover. If you use images from the internet, be sure to cite your sources in the final credits. Include the names of any individuals who work on your project (first names only). With the help of your teacher, you will upload your finished video to the district’s Google Apps for Education account.
Download and print as many copies as you need of the blank storyboard pageto plan your video.
